The MRSA acts as the bargaining agent for all Staff, and enters into a Collective Agreement concerning the terms and conditions of work and employment. All Employees of Mount Royal University covered by the Mount Royal Staff Association Collective Agreement are required to pay monthly dues to the Association. This provides the benefits and rights of the agreement.
The Collective Agreement contains the common provisions and staff benefits that have been determined in the contract bargaining process between the MRSA and the Mount Royal University Board of Governors.
The MRSA Constitution was last updated April, 2023. The Constitution is the official document of the fundamental principles in which the MRSA is governed.
